MEETINGs MAtrix

This workshop helps facilitators manage meetings and practice moving a group from deliberation towards decision-making. Participants will explore how to use subtle facilitation tools to reach consensus, and more structured processes such as Robert’s Rules of Order, to forge decision-making. This session is built for experienced facilitators and leaders dynamic groups, such as boards of directors, leadership teams, and coalitions.


Primary objective: Participants understand Robert’s Rules of Order and practice how to use it effectively in formal settings.


Secondary objective: Participants learn diverse facilitation techniques for various types of groups and circumstances.


Tertiary objective: Participants practice shifting groups from deliberation to consensus and/or decision-making.
